Hope in the amidst of greatest Fear

Hope gives a light of living; a wisdom to seldomly grow in the dark like a phoenix from its ashes. Hope gives a joy to re-brush the flowers of life and wisdom. We remember the days of scholars, worshiper, leaders and gods who changed the life of millions with their effort and power. But, do humans remember those who left the war unfinished with huge expectation that surged the serotonin back to the mind? We never assume or we never accustom the days when a hearty child ends the war of life in seconds or minutes to say that pain was great. The question is it was the pain or a man-made infrastructure of boundaries to classify an imaginary living?

In this modernised world, humans have been seeking new interests, trends, shortcuts and technological advancement to forecast them more appropriate in this world. With this support of materialised living, one has stopped to find the peace and calmness in the nature’s reality. This simultaneously has increased the expectation that has been disrupted with the performance mismatch. This growing trend of expectation-performance mismatch has increased the valuation of depression in this current generation. Today on 10th September, 2021, the world is struck with two devastating pandemics. One is the outbreak of 2019, and the other is the outbreak from centuries behind. The outbreak of 2019 or the CoVID-19 pandemic did not affect so much as the outbreak of centuries has done. This second outbreak is nothing but the outbreak of Suicide that is killing 1 person out of 100 deaths a day. This data is much more devastating than the pandemic of 2019. Suicide is ranked the 10th largest cause of death in 2017-2019. This four year a huge number of people just gave their life with a reason of expectation they cannot meet.

The pathway of depression begins with the expectation-performance mismatch and then ends in the hopeless ceremony of suicide. The same theories have been explained in the research article of Dr. Sinchan Das and Priyankesh Mishra with the heading “Suicide, a Multidimensional Dangerous Epidemichttps://www.ijtsrd.com/humanities-and-the-arts/psychology/29241/suicide-a-dangerous-multidimensional-epidemic/dr-sinchan-dasthat evaluated the growing issues of suicide in this era. This research highlights the epigenetic changes that are occurring in the current born generation. Thus, today the time is much more damaging and threatening for the coming future. But, with the fear, there has a hope of light that demands for a change in the society. The growing egoistic, hyper-individualistic, materialistic and dominative mentality are the aetiological factors for this suicide pandemic. And in the coming future this will be a larger disease like a Zombie war killing millions daily. There is still a hope to recover the damage and save those who are still struggling from this expectation-performance mismatch.

Thus, it is the extreme time to bring back the humanity with a light of hope to restore the happiness in human life. Let us forget the demand we make, expectation we have and trends we follow; and see what actually the mother earth is…….
